The board discussed a request for a variance regarding building setbacks. The applicant sought to move a proposed garage structure closer to property lines to improve vehicle usability. Board members debated whether the strict application of zoning terms regarding setbacks constituted a practical difficulty or unnecessary hardship unique to the specific property. Due to a lack of a full quorum, the board voted to table the motion until the following month to allow for a more complete review and decision.
