Easton Facilities Replacement Plan
This document outlines the feasibility study for replacing Easton's municipal police, fire, and DPW facilities. The existing facilities, ranging from 50 to over 70 years old, are deemed antiquated, undersized, and non-compliant with modern accessibility, safety, and environmental codes. Key challenges include operational inefficiencies, safety hazards, and insufficient space for personnel and equipment. The plan aims to develop modern, compliant, and future-proof infrastructure by consolidating departments, implementing advanced decontamination processes for fire services, and optimizing vehicle storage and maintenance. The feasibility study evaluates new site options, including Daley's Corner, Center School, and the Gill Property, to ensure effective public safety and public works services for the next 50-75 years.
