The Council held a budget workshop for the Fiscal Year 2027. Discussions included an update on Texas House Bill 2844 and its impact on city ordinances regarding mobile food trucks, as well as scheduling future meetings to align with budget and tax rate requirements. Action was taken to approve an Interlocal Cooperation Contract with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Additionally, the Council approved the renewal of Promotion and Tourism contracts with the Flatonia Chamber of Commerce, the EA Arnim Museum and Archives, Flatonia Special Projects, Inc., and Czhilispiel, Inc.
