Patterson Loop 26/27 Timber Sale RFP

Description: The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service, is seeking sealed bids for the Patterson Loop 26/27 Timber Sale. The sale covers 254 acres at Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest in Hendry County, including thinning about 220 acres of planted south Florida slash pine and clearcutting about 34 acres of planted eucalyptus; estimated yields are 1,427 tons of pine and 165 tons of eucalyptus pulpwood/mulch wood. The contract term is 18 months, low-ground-pressure equipment is required, and bids are due October 28, 2026.
