RFI - Platform-Edge Protection System

Description: The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding platform-edge safety and intrusion prevention technologies that may be suitable for installation at existing TTC subway stations. This RFI is intended to gather information on a range of solutions, including but not limited to Platform Edge Doors (PEDs), rope-based systems, and other emerging or innovative platform protection technologies. The TTC is interested in understanding the cost, reliability, operational performance, maintainability, implementation requirements, and integration considerations associated with these solutions in an existing subway environment.
