Description: Project is to install a new electrical service and associated electrical infrastructure. Work includes installation of a new 100-amp, 120/240-volt, single-phase, 3-wire metered service pedestal and approximately 656 linear feet of electrical conduit and associated electrical infrastructure to provide power to reservoir water mixer(s). The work includes installation of electrical feeders, junction boxes, pull boxes, conduit, and associated appurtenances, as shown in the project plans.

Installation (replacement) of two (2) 1000 HP motors at the water treatment plant reservoir pump station. Winning bidder must provide, install and laser-align the motors. Installation will include providing a crane, removing and replacing the pump house roof, existing motor removal and transport to on-site storage location, providing provisions for vibration detectors 90 degrees apart with ¼-28 UNF tapped hole to mount our sensors, providing (and laser aligning shafts) a new coupling for each unit, making all electrical disconnections and reconnections, installing a vibration system (and ensuring proper operation), performing vibration analysis before and after new motor installation, and all other tasks, requirements, and specifications outlined in the contract documents.

The City of Spruce Grove seeks a feasibility study of future potable-water storage requirements in Zone 1, including conceptual sizing and location for a new reservoir. Storage capacity has fallen following the decommissioning of one reservoir cell, and other storage facilities are approaching the end of their service lives. The study will help the City plan capacity for future demand under a built-out scenario.
